Number of ATMs, POS-terminalsin significantly increases in Azerbaijan

As of October 1, there were 2,854 ATMs in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

This figure is 8.1% higher than on October 1, 2020.

According to the bank, 1,510 ATMs were in Baku and 1,344 in the regions. These figures are 9.2% and 6.9% higher than the corresponding numbers of the last year, respectively.

As of late September, there were 61,109 POS-terminals in Azerbaijan, 7.1% more than a year ago.

As many as 40,566 POS-terminals were in Baku, and 20,543 were in the regions, 8.7% and 4.1% more than a year ago, respectively.
