Number of active VAT payers up by 6.4% in Azerbaijan

As of September 1, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 3% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 831,000, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
Over the eight months of the year, the number of active VAT payers rose by 6.4% to 56,200, while the number of active business entities (facilities) grew by 4.9% to 228,200.
