New President of World Bank appointed

Baku. 28 September. REPORT.AZ/ Jim Yong Kim has been re-appointed for a second five-year term as World Bank president.
Report informs citing the Bank, J.Y.Kim will act in this post beginning July 1, next year.
WB Board of Directors has approved J.Y.Kim's position.
J.Y.Kim joined the Bank in July 2012. During the period of his presidency, the income of the bank grew by 40%, also, administrative expenses reduced 400 mln. USD.
Notably, currently, WB funds 11 projects in Azerbaijan.
