Netherlands invests $60.1 million in Azerbaijan in January-June

Direct investment from the Netherlands in Azerbaijan's economy amounted to $60.1 million in the first half of this year.

According to Report, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), this was three times, or $40.3 million, more than in the same period last year.

The Netherlands accounted for 1.6% of total foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan in January-June.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan invested $11.05 million in the Dutch economy, a sixfold increase year on year. These investments accounted for 0.2% of Azerbaijan's total outward investment.

In January-June 2026, foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan's economy totaled $3.666 billion, up 13.8% year on year, while Azerbaijan invested $5 billion abroad, a 3.7-fold increase.
