Nakhchivan's GDP rises 2.2% in January-August

Gross domestic product (GDP) in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic reached 1.173 billion manats ($690 million) in January-August 2026.
According to Report, citing Nakhchivan's State Statistical Committee, the figure was 2.2% higher than in the same period last year.
GDP per capita in the autonomous republic increased by 1.9% over the past year to 2,481 manats ($1,459).
Overall, Azerbaijan produced GDP worth 87.7095 billion manats ($51.59 billion) in the first eight months of the year, up 1.2% from the same period last year.
Oil and gas GDP declined by 0.8% to 26.1819 billion manats ($15.40 billion), while non-oil and gas GDP increased by 2.1% to 61.5276 billion manats ($36.19 billion).
