Ministry: US-dollar to rise in Russia this quarter

Baku. 9 October. REPORT.AZ/ Starting from October, US-dollar will start to rise in Russia and in late December an average rate will make 63 rubles.
Report informs citing the Gazeta.ru, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has said.
Analysts also agree with the ministry's forecast: it varies in the range of 60-70 RUB / USD.
According to experts from the ministry, oil prices will continue to fall in last quarter of this year. In October, average price of Urals oil will be $ 51 per barrel, $ 49 per barrel in November, and $ 47 per barrel in December. The ministry predicts that the dollar rate will rise in the background of falling oil prices. Thus, in October, dollar is expected to be 60.8 rubles, 62.1 rubles in November and 63 rubles in December. Average rate for the last quarter is predicted to be 62 RUB/USD and $ 59.4 RUR/USD for 2017.
According to analysts, rise in the dollar will lead to the loss of attractiveness of "carry-trading" operations and will lead investors to swiftly shift from Russian assets to US-dollar. This can raise its rate up to 70 rubles.
