Mikayil Jabbarov: Azerbaijan keen to strengthen partnership with IsDB

Azerbaijan is interested in strengthening its partnership with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said at the closing press conference of the IsDB Group's 51st Annual Meetings held in Baku, Report informs.

Jabbarov said it was a source of pride for Azerbaijan that Baku hosted the Group's Annual Meetings for the second time since 2010. He noted that the event was organized under the high patronage of President Ilham Aliyev.

The minister said the meetings, held under the theme "Regional Integration for Sustainable Prosperity," will be remembered for productive discussions and forward-looking initiatives.

Jabbarov also expressed gratitude to IsDB President Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser and his team for the organization of the Annual Meetings, the Private Sector Forum and other important sessions.

He said the success of the event reflected their dedication, professionalism and commitment to partnership. Jabbarov also congratulated Al Jasser on his re-election and emphasized Azerbaijan's appreciation for his valuable contribution to strengthening the bank's activities and serving member countries, including Azerbaijan.
