Independent experts to be involved in Azerbaijan's insurance market

In the future, insurance events will be assessed by independent experts in Azerbaijan, not by an insurance company, Director of the Insurance Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Vusal Gurbanov said, Report informs.

“The CBA is working on this. We will teach independent experts everything from A to Z in the insurance sector. We want Azerbaijan to have an institute of insurance experts. At present, disputes between insurance companies and policyholders are resolved in court. But if there is an expert institution, these issues will be resolved without going to court,” Gurbanov said.
