The International Finance Corporation (IFC) supports the growth in the public sector and the transition to renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan, IFC Regional Manager for the South Caucasus, Ivana Fernandes Duarte, said at the 24th annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), Report informs.
She recalled the launch of the Offshore Wind Roadmap for Azerbaijan.
According to her, the world has faced two crises since 2020 – a pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
The regional manager said in 2022, the growth in the Black Sea region is forecast to shrink by about 3.2 percent. "We continue to support Ukraine and will continue to provide financial support," he said.
