Gold stable at slightly over $1,780 per ounce

The price of gold stabilized at around $1,780 per ounce on Wednesday morning as investors expect the US Fed's decision on the rate next week, Report informs, citing the trading data.
February futures for gold dropped by $0.1 or 0.01% at New York's Comex, to $1,782.3 per troy ounce. The March futures for silver rose 0.23% to $22,387 per ounce.
The Fed Reserve will hold its next session on December 13-14 and is expected to declare the decision on the key rate and renew macroeconic indicators.
