Gold futures price hits historic high

The price of gold futures has updated its historical maximum, exceeding $3,400 per troy ounce, Report informs referring to the Comex exchange data.

In the morning, the price of June gold futures on the New York Comex exchange increased by $72.04 (2.16%) compared to the previous close, to $3,400.44 per troy ounce.

The price of May silver futures increased by 1.22%, amounting to $32.868 per ounce.
