Foreigners’ operations via bank cards in Azerbaijan decline

Due to coronavirus pandemic, the number of foreigners traveling to Azerbaijan dropped in April, Report informs citing the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
In April 2020, the foreigners spent AZN 19.7 million on operations via bank cards, down AZN 83.5 million, or 80.91% from the previous year.
The foreigners’ operations via bank card in January-April 2020 totaled AZN 231.7 million, down AZN 143.1 million or 38.18% from 2019.
