European Investment Bank to transfer EU's experience in housing to developing countries

The European Investment Bank (EIB) intends to adapt and implement proven housing construction approaches used in EU countries in Ukraine, Kenya, and Pakistan, Luis Hebrero Rodriguez, head of Housing, Cities, and Regions Advisory Division at the European Investment Bank, said at a panel discussion as part of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

"The European Investment Bank disseminates housing infrastructure development models that have demonstrated their effectiveness in various countries. The Bank aims to transfer the experience accumulated in EU countries to Ukraine, Kenya, Pakistan, and Tunisia. Bridging the gap between housing construction costs and the actual solvency of citizens remains a priority," noted Rodriguez.
