Economic independence granted to Central Bank of Azerbaijan

The Central Bank has been granted the economic independence in line with the bill on amending the law "On the Central Bank" approved by President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

According to the document, the funds received from the sale of the bank's assets or their disposal in other ways are attributed to its income.

Except for the case provided by this Law, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan is not responsible for the obligations of the state, and the state is not responsible for the obligations of the CBA.
