Dzneladze: In digital age, regional cooperation became necessity

In an era of rapidly evolving digital technologies and changing decision-making processes in the financial sector, regional cooperation has ceased to be just an option and has become a necessity, thanks to artificial intelligence, Alexander Dzneladze, president of the Banking Association of Georgia, said at the 10th International Finance and Banking Summit in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, digital technologies are currently reshaping financial services, artificial intelligence is changing decision-making mechanisms, and payment systems are becoming increasingly integrated.

Dzneladze stated that in the new reality, no country can cope with these changes alone.

"The countries represented here are united not only by geographic proximity and economic interests, but also by a shared aspiration to build a modern, inclusive, secure, and global financial system," he said.

The association's president added that Georgia supports all regional initiatives aimed at facilitating trade and investment and strengthening the links between financial markets.
