Demand exceeds supply over 6-fold at CBA's deposit auction

Baku. 28 August. REPORT.AZ/ The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has today held a regular deposit auction.
Report informs citing the CBA, the bank planned raising funds in amount of 100 mln. AZN, but demand made 610,9 mln. AZN (6,1-fold more).
Notably, weighted average interest rate on deposit transactions at the auction amounted to 10,01% per annum. Total of 100 mln AZN were raised on deposit transactions concluded as a result of auction.
