Currency auction sales in Azerbaijan double

In January-November 2024, currency auctions held jointly by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) resulted in sales of nearly $6.604 billion, Report informs, citing the CBA.
According to the bank, this is a twofold increase compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
In November alone, the amount of currency sales reached $478.1 million, which is 14.1% more year-on-year.
