Copper price rises on stock exchanges

Copper prices increase against the background of China's economic data.
Copper March futures rose by 0.57% to $ 3.6208 per pound (about 0.45 kg) on the Comex this morning.
On the London Metal Exchange (LME) on Friday, a ton of copper, which will be delivered in three months, fell by 1.24% to $ 7,949, aluminum by 0.72% to $ 1,991, and zinc by 2.1% to $ 2,699.
On Monday, investors focused on macroeconomic statistics in the world's largest copper consumer China. In the fourth quarter of 2020, China's GDP grew by 6.5% year on year, exceeding analysts' expectations of 6.1% growth.
