Circulation speed of Azerbaijani manat rose in July

As of August 1, 2025, the circulation speed of Azerbaijan's national currency-the manat-stood at 3.39 points, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This figure reflects a slight increase of 0.02 points compared to July 1. However, it is 0.06 points lower than at the beginning of the year and 0.02 points below the level recorded on August 1, 2024.
According to CBA statistics, the lowest circulation speed of the manat over the past two decades was registered in late January 2015, just before the first major devaluation in recent years, at 2.68 points. The highest level was recorded in 2005, reaching 15.72 points.
