Central banks of Azerbaijan and Türkiye discuss international practices

The central banks of Azerbaijan and Türkiye have held discussions on the application of international practices, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani side.

A delegation from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) paid a working visit to the Central Bank of Türkiye. During the visit, meetings were held covering a range of topics, including budget planning and management, implementation of innovations in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and improvements in internal control systems.

Participants engaged in interactive presentations and exchanged views on key areas.

The discussions also touched on the adoption of international practices, the effectiveness of both existing and updated systems, and other matters of mutual interest. The meetings were described as constructive and beneficial for both sides.
