Central Bank comments on selection of KPMG Audit Azerbaijan as auditor

KPMG Audit Azerbaijan LC was selected as an auditor of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and results of the tender were approved in accordance with the Law on Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

CBA told Report that KPMG Audit Azerbaijan LLC is an Azerbaijan-based member of KPMG, global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services, and operates under requirements of Chamber of Auditors and legislation.

‘Annual activity of the CBA is audited by not only local companies, but also representatives and partners of KPMG’s offices in Moscow and London. Results of the audit enter into force and are publicized after approval of the head office’, the CBA said.
