CBA stops lending to banks and non-bank credit organizations

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) had no outstanding credit exposure to local banks or non-bank credit organizations as of January 1, 2026, according to the Central Bank's financial statements, cited by Report.

The data shows that as of January 1, 2025, the CBA's credit investments amounted to 13.761 million manats in banks and 648,000 manats in non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs).
