Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has started to work on the banks with the total capital of less than AZN 50 million, CBA Chairman Elman Rustamov said at a press conference.
“Those banks are healthy, fulfill their commitments. Their adequacy is high, just total capital is lower than the minimum capital requirement. We are working on an increase of total capital of those banks within the year,” he said.
