The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) plans to integrate gender diversity into its corporate governance standards.
According to Report, this initiative was a key topic during a meeting between CBA Deputy Chairperson Guler Pashayeva and Scottish First Minister John Swinney.
“It is heartening to see the government prioritize gender diversity at the highest levels, which further fuels my commitment to advancing this work within Azerbaijan's financial sector. This experience is closely aligned with my action plan to integrate gender diversity into corporate governance standards, drawing from Azerbaijan's proud history of women's empowerment and striving for a more inclusive and equitable future,” Pashayeva stated.
