CBA, EBRD mull priorities of banking regulation in Azerbaijan

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have discussed the priorities of banking regulation in the country, Report informs referring to the CBA.
At the meeting with the delegation led by Executive Director for Financial Institutions of the EBRD, Francis Malige, the sides discussed trends in the country’s economy and banking sector, priorities of banking regulation, promoting inclusivity in the financial industry, as well as current and potential areas of cooperation between the CBA and the EBRD.
