CBA chairman: Foreign currency sold to IBA in July returned in one month

$236 million, which the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) sold to the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) in June of this year to regulate its currency position, were returned in one month, Taleh Kazimov, CBA chairman, said at a press conference, Report informs.
"These banks had some difficulties left over from the past, so we decided to sell currency to them and set a 2-month deadline for repayment. And they adjusted their currency positions for one month and sold to us," he said.
