CBA: Azerbaijan’s forex reserves sufficient for 3 years of imports

As of October 1, 2024, Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves totaled $73.5 billion, sufficient to finance 35.5 months (approximately 3 years) of imports of goods and services, Report informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, the country's strategic foreign exchange reserves increased by 7.3% in January-September of this year. Additionally, these reserves currently exceed the money supply indicator in manats (M2 monetary aggregate), by 3.5 times.
