Car sales in EU rise by 9%

In October 2019, 1,177,746 new cars were sold in EU, up 8.7% from previous year, Report informs citing the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).
Car registration in the European countries dropped by 0.7% to 12,946,921.
The biggest number of new cars (284,593 cars) were registered in Germany. Germany was followed by France (188,987 cars) and Italy (156,851).
Most of the cars were sold by WW Group (293,077 cars), PSA Group (178,475 cars) and Renault Group (119,275 cars).
