BSTDB inks deal with AZAL

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) and Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) have signed an agreement, BSTDB President Serhat Koksal told journalists on the sidelines of the bank's 28th annual meeting of the Board of Governors in Baku, Report informs.

"Yesterday, we signed an agreement with Azerbaijan Airlines. In the energy sector, we will finance investments in solar power plants. We cannot provide details at this time, but our negotiations are ongoing. We will attract financing for projects in Azerbaijan in many sectors, including logistics, tourism, and education," Koksal said.

He added that the bank's goal is to ensure the development of both Azerbaijan and other countries and to enhance trade between them.

"In this regard, we see tremendous support from the Azerbaijani government. We, as a bank, are doing and will continue to do everything possible for the Azerbaijani economy," the BSTDB president added.
