In January-March 2021, deals on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 4,252,173,000, up 2.05-fold from the previous year.
According to Report, the number of deals went up by 2.3-fold to 2,614.
Meanwhile, government securities constituted 72.1% or AZN 3,064,007,000 of the BSE turnover, up 3.5-fold from a year earlier.
Deals on the corporate securities market fell by 5.7-fold to AZN 134.353 million, while repo operations showed a 2.5-fold increase, reaching AZN1,053,813,000.
