Banks in Azerbaijan double net profit

The net profit of Azerbaijani banks amounted to AZN 536.9 million in 2019, up 92.2% from the previous year.

Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) that the operating incomes rose by 14.9% to AZN 2,645,900,000, operating expenditures went up 9.05% to AZN 1,752,900,000, allocations for special reserves slid 35.9% to AZN 221.3 million, other incomes grew by 8.5-fold to AZN 21.3 million, profit tax ascended by 2.2-fold to AZN 156.1 million.
