Azeri Light was selling 45.4% higher than budgeted in 1H26

In the first half of 2026, the average export price of one barrel of Azeri Light crude oil on the global market was $94.5, which is 45.4% higher than the price assumed in the calculation of the initially approved budget parameters for 2026 ($65), according to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance's document titled "Report on the Execution of the 2026 State and Consolidated Budgets for the First Half of the Year and Expectations for Year-End," Report informs.
According to the document, the average price of Azerbaijani oil was $58.4 in January, $71.1 in February, $106.4 in March, $120.1 in April, $111.8 in May, and $89 in June.
