Azerbaijani manat's velocity of circulation declines again in July

The velocity of circulation of the Azerbaijani manat stood at 3 points as of August 1 this year.

According to data from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), cited by Report, this was 0.02 points lower than the figure recorded on July 1, 0.2 points lower than at the beginning of the year, and 0.39 points lower than on August 1, 2025.

According to CBA statistics, the lowest velocity of circulation of the manat over the past 21 years was recorded in January 2015, at 2.68 points, shortly before the first devaluation in years. The highest figure was registered in 2005, at 15.72 points.
