Azerbaijani citizens reduce purchase of apartments in Turkey

In January, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 68 apartments in Turkey, a drop of 31 apartments or 31.3 percent than in January 2020, Report informs, referring to the Turkish Statistics Office.
In January, 2,712 foreigners bought real estate in Turkey, which is 1,233 apartments or 31.2 percent less than in the previous year.
Most apartments in Turkey were bought by citizens of Iran - 459 apartments (219 apartments or 32.3 percent less), and in 2020 - 7,189. Iraqi citizens ranked second - 385 (minus 354 or 47.9 percent), citizens of Russia – third with 260 apartments bought (an increase of 6 apartments or 2.36 percent).
