Azerbaijani banks reduce Bloomberg trade operations by over 10%

In the first quarter of 2026, Azerbaijani banks executed 1,041 transactions worth 42.1 billion manats (over $24.7 billion) on the Bloomberg trading system, according to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan's (CBA) quarterly Monetary Policy Review, Report informs.
Compared to the same period last year, the transaction value increased by 86.3%, while the number of transactions decreased by 10.4%.
Overall, activity in the unsecured segment of the interbank market remained strong during the reporting period, with 97% of these operations carried out for 1–3 days.
