Azerbaijan, World Bank mull activities to be carried out within COP29 framework

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the World Bank have discussed the activities to be carried out within the framework of COP29, which will be held in Baku on November 11-22, Report informs.

"We had a productive discussion with Anna Bjerde, Executive Director of Operations at the World Bank, as part of the Annual Meetings 2024. Our conversation covered key priorities for Azerbaijan's cooperation with the WB, including key initiatives related to COP29, major projects on the agenda, and potential avenues for WB's support in these directions,” CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov said in a post on X.
