Azerbaijan, VISA sign memo of understanding

The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and VISA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the expansion of modern financial solutions.

According to Report, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said on X that he held a meeting with Kristina Doros, Senior Vice President for the CIS, Eastern and South-Eastern European countries at Visa, during which they exchanged views on prospects for cooperation, the development of the digital payments ecosystem, and support mechanisms for small and medium-sized businesses.

"As part of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy and VISA. This Memorandum will contribute to broadening access to modern financial solutions in Azerbaijan and advancing financial inclusion," Jabbarov said.
