Azerbaijan expects average annual inflation to reach 5.7% this year, up from the previously forecast 4.8%.
According to Report, the revised forecast is included in the Ministry of Finance's document titled "Report on the Execution of the 2026 State and Consolidated Budgets for the First Half of the Year and Expectations for Year-End."
The ministry said the inflation forecast was revised upward based on actual inflation recorded during the period, global commodity and food prices and their impact on import prices, as well as changes in regulated tariffs for goods and services and other factors.
