Azerbaijan, Standard Chartered Bank mull prospects for further co-op

Azerbaijan and British multinational bank Standard Chartered Bank have discussed the situation on global financial markets and foreign exchange reserve management, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The discussions took place during a meeting between Ali Ahmadov, Deputy Chairman of the CBA, and Jojo Ow, CEO of Debt Capital Markets at Standard Chartered Bank.
"The parties discussed the macroeconomic environment, trends in global financial markets, current developments in foreign exchange reserve management, as well as the dynamics of the sovereign bond market and money market," the CBA stated.
Meeting participants also addressed the integration of Azerbaijan's financial markets into the global financial system, Standard Chartered Bank's potential in this direction, and prospects for future cooperation. In addition, the sides exchanged views on initiatives of mutual interest, knowledge sharing, and practical experience.
