Azerbaijan's non-oil revenues beat forecast 9% in 1Q26

In the first quarter of 2026, Azerbaijan's non-oil and gas sector contributed 5.53 billion manats (approximately $3.26 billion) to the state budget, which accounted for 57.7% of total revenues, Report informs, citing the country's Ministry of Finance.
According to the latest data, this was 446.1 million manats (just over $262.4 million), or 8.8%, higher than the forecast.
The bulk of these revenues came from taxes, which provided 3.85 billion manats (just over $2.26 billion) or 69.5% of the total.
Customs duties followed with just over 1.41 billion manats (approximately $829.5 million), making up 25.5%. Paid services of budgetary organizations added 163.5 million manats (nearly $96.2 million), equal to 3% of the total, while other revenues contributed 99.2 million manats (just over $58.3 million) or 1.8%.
Finally, leasing of state property accounted for 13.8 million manats (just over $8.1 million), representing 0.2% of the non-oil and gas revenues.
