Azerbaijan's insurance market grows by 13%

From January to August 2025, insurance companies in Azerbaijan collected more than 1.048 billion manats (approximately $616.5 million) in premiums, reflecting a 12.9% year-on-year increase, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the same period, insurance payouts rose by 21.1% to 603.4 million manats (around $355 million).
On average, insurers returned 57.6 manats ($33.88) to customers for every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in premiums, compared to 53.7 manats ($31.59) during the corresponding period in 2024.
