Azerbaijan's external public debt falls nearly 8%

As of October 1, 2026, Azerbaijan's external public debt stood at just under $4.51 billion, marking a 7.8% decrease year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.
In September alone, the country's external public debt declined by $50 million.
Last year, Azerbaijan's external public debt decreased by 6.7%, falling to approximately $4.813 billion (8.183 billion manats).
