Azerbaijan's current account surplus to reach $5.3B in 2024, says CBA

According to updated forecasts, Azerbaijan's current account balance is expected to achieve a substantial surplus of $5.3 billion in 2024 and a further $5.5 billion in 2025, Report informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
Meanwhile, the foreign trade balance, a key component of the current account, has already recorded an impressive positive balance of $5.2 billion in the first nine months of 2024, the CBA stated.
