Azerbaijan's compulsory insurance market down 11%

In January-August of this year, 161.232 million ($94 million) manats (-11.3%) insurance premiums were collected at the expense of compulsory insurance types in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, the amount of payments for types of compulsory insurance amounted to 63.355 million manats ($37 million), which is 22.9% less than a year ago.
Thus, in January-August 2022, 39.3 manats ($23.12) of every 100 manats ($58.2) collected from the compulsory insurance market were paid. This figure was 45.2 manats ($26.9) in January-August 2021.
