Azerbaijan represented at AIIB Annual Meeting

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has attended the opening ceremony of the 11th Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Doha, Qatar, Report informs.

He wrote on X that the long-term partnership with the AIIB is of particular importance to Azerbaijan: "We attended the opening ceremony of the 11th Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, held in Doha and hosted by the State of Qatar. Our long-standing partnership with AIIB is of particular importance to Azerbaijan. Key areas of cooperation include economic diversification, the development of green and sustainable infrastructure, investment in transport, energy and digital infrastructure. We are confident that the discussions and exchanges held during the Annual Meeting will further contribute to advancing sustainable development, expanding investment cooperation, and strengthening regional connectivity."
