Azerbaijan observes 1.5% surge in broad money supply in manats

As of February 1, 2025, the volume of broad money supply (M3) in Azerbaijan exceeded 45.564 billion manats ($26.8 billion), marking a 2% decrease month-on-month and a 1.5% increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

The money supply (M2) in manat stood at over 34.752 billion manats ($20.442 billion) as of February 1, 2025, representing a 5.2% monthly decrease and a 1.5% annual increase.

In the specified period, the volume of money supply (M1) was 27.63 billion manats ($16.253 billion), showing a 6.8% decrease compared to the previous month and a 4% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.

As of February 1, 2025, the cash mass outside banks (M0) amounted to 15.285 billion manats ($8.991 billion). This indicates a 3.6% decrease month-on-month and a 0.9% decrease year-on-year.
