Azerbaijan increases social protection expenditures of IDPs by 1%

Next year, 367.4 million manats (0.8% more than the approved forecast for 2021) will be allocated from the state budget of Azerbaijan to ensure the social protection of IDPs, Report informs, citing the bill "On the state budget envelope for 2022."
It is envisaged to provide a single monthly allowance of 60 manats to persons with IDP status and their equivalent (about 500,000 people), amounting to 340 million manats, 19.6 million manats to cover the cost of utilities, and 4.8 million manats to other measures.
