Azerbaijan gets more than 12% growth in currency reserves last year

As of January 1, 2020, Azerbaijan’s currency reserves stood at $49,581,300,000 with SOFAZ accounting for 87.4% or AZN 43,323,300,000, and CBA for 12.6% or AZN 6,258,000,000.
In the fourth quarter of 2019, the currency reserves increased by $1,022,800,000 or 2.1%. SOFAZ’s currency reserves went up $798,900,000 or 1.9%, CBA’s currency reserves – by $223.9 million or 3.7%.
In 2019, the currency reserves grew by $5,440,400,000 or 12.3%. SOFAZ’s reserves ascended by $4,808,100,000 or 12.5%, CBA’s reserves – by $632.3 million or 11.2%.
