Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan discuss development of fintech ecosystem

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have discussed current approaches and future prospects for developing an innovative financial ecosystem and financial technologies, as well as improving access to funding sources for organizations specializing in the sector, according to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The CBA said Deputy Governor Vusal Khalilov met with Nodirbek Saydullayev, First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, during a working visit to Uzbekistan.

"The two officials discussed current approaches and future prospects for developing an innovative financial ecosystem and advancing financial technologies. They also addressed ways to expand access to financing for organizations specializing in these areas. The meeting also included an exchange of views on opportunities to deepen institutional cooperation," the CBA said on X.
