Average monthly salary in Azerbaijan up by 7%

Baku. 24 January. REPORT.AZ/ In January-November, 2016, average monthly nominal wage of hired employees increased by 7% compared to the same period of 2015 and amounted to 494.3 AZN.
Report informs citing official statistics, average monthly salary made 2 773.7 AZN in oil sector, while 440.2 AZN in non-oil sector.
Wages of state employees made 371.7 AZN, employees of private enterprises 669.3 AZN.
According to statistics, average monthly nominal wage of employees, engaged in the fields of mining, financial and insurance, vocational, scientific and technical activities, construction, as well as information and communication was higher than the national average.
